National Defence Academy (NDA) / NAVAL ACADEMY (NA)

National Defence Academy (NDA) is a joint services academy of an Indian Armed Forces, which is located in Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharastra, where cadets of three services (the army, the navy and the airforce) train together before they go on to the pre – commissioning training in their respective academies. It is the first tri-service in the world.

The Indian Naval Academy (NAVAC, also known as INA or Ezhimala) is the initial officer training establishment of the Indian Navy, located in Ezhimala, near Payyanur, Kerala. Situated between Mount Dilli and the Kavvayi backwaters, NAVAC has a 7 km beach front on the Arabian Sea. It conducts basic training for all officers inducted into the Indian Navy.

The NDA / NA Entrance Exam is being conducted twice a year, which is exclusively for the students who are appearing or have completed the Higher Secondary Course (12th standard).
